Services across the EU

The Services Directive should give consumers: wider choice, better value and easier access to services across the EU

Many consumers are not sufficiently informed about businesses in other countries and therefore can be reluctant to use their services or else run into difficulties when they try to use them. That is why the EU adopted the Services Directive to ensure that both consumers and businesses reap the full benefits of the Internal Market by being able to easily offer and buy services.
